Job description:  

Pharmaceutical Plant Manager

In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking for a Plant Manager for a pharmaceutical company based in Dublin.

Job purpose

Reporting to the Manufacturing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the plants day to day operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that scheduled campaigns are completed on time to meet customer service and to achieve key supply chain metrics (STP, etc.)
• Work closely with Manufacturing Technology department for the implementation of new Launch products
• Ensuring that all EHS and GMP compliance requirements including key metrics are achieved
• Achieve budget through-put rates and work with MT to optimize processes to make more efficient

· Responsible for driving continuous improvement.

• Responsible for management of Plant cost centre ensuring that spend is controlled
• Management/development of process chemists and process engineers
• Manage communications across departments

Requirements:

• Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 year's technical experience in a manufacturing role
• DCS/PLC control systems experience required.
• Previous people management experience and demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communicational skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
