Title; Electrical Engineer / Project Manager - Windfarm

Start date; Immediate.

Location; Cork

My client is a leading Irish M&E Contractor. They have recently become involved in the renewable energy sector and have a number of Windfarm contracts ongoing in the Cork / Kerry and broader Munster area. They now require a Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join their team.

The candidate does not need windfarm exp but must have knowledge and/or experience in the Construciton of 110kv substaions and be familiar with the connectivity process to the ESB.

Duties;

• Correspond with consultant engineer, Client and ESB during project to ensure correct installation
• Programming (timelines) for projects
• Attend site meetings
• Co-ordinate labour / manpower resources to meet programme critical dates
• Deal with sub-contractor to ensure correct installation
• Computerise ordering system for orders
• Pass invoices
• Operate to quality assurance requirements
• Operate to health + safety requirements

 

Required

• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role either froma windfarm or similar background
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven Project Management capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
