Job description:

SAP DEVELOPER, Permanent Position, DUBLIN

Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced SAP Programmer  to join our clients consulting team.  

You will have experience in one or more full project life cycle SAP implementations is required.  The SAP Programmer will know the NetWeaver programming model for user interfaces for ABAP as well as Java applications. In addition, any knowledge of RFC's &/or BAPI's, XI / PI will be useful. Web Dynpro experience in Java &/or ABAP would also be an advantage.   The SAP Developer will be responsible for the development and testing of numerous SAP applications across a wide spectrum of SAP environments.  The candidates will support existing client Java and ABAP solutions and work directly with client companies to gather requirements and develop solutions.

As an ideal candidate you will have

-          SAP ABAP Development experience

-          SAP ECC experience

-          SAP Netweaver

-          SAP ESS / MSS development

-          SAP Exchange Infrastructure experience

-          SAP Java Connector (JCo)

-          Experience in analysing user requirements and design of SAP JAVA and ABAP solutions

-          Data Conversion programming (using BAPI, BDC, LSMW & CATT, User exits tools)

-          Report Writing with ALV functionality

-          Enhancement development (using User Exits & BADIs)

-          Screen / Transaction development

-          Smartforms / SAPScript development

-          ALE / IDOC / EDI development

-          XML Knowledge Assets Management

-          Report Writer

-          Role Authorisations

The following skills are advantageous :

-          SAP Webdynpro for Java and ABAP

-          SAP Java / OO Development experience

-          SAP Netweaver Development Studio

-          SAP Enterprise Portal 6 & 7

-          SAP Workflow development experience

-          Functional experience in one or more SAP modules

-          InfoSet / SAP Query development

-          System Administration knowledge

-          Experience with Business Connector

-            Performance tuning
