Job description: IP Network Design and Development Engineer
Working within one of the most established and largest network operations in Ireland this is an opportunity for a senior Network Engineer with strong experience in design and development in a core IP network environment.
You will be responsible for a range of activities including design and implementation of large-scale high level network designs, migrations, solutions design, capacity management and project management.
You will have at least 5 years in a senior network engineering role and you will have worked at an architect level. Extensive experience with IP protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP are required as well as experience supporting large-scale routing and switching equipment from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper. As well as a degree in a relevant field you will have achieved industry accreditations such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSP and CCIE or equivalents. Experience in fixed line and/or mobile telecoms environments would be highly desirable.
