My client, a global financial services company with offices in Dublin is currently seeking a Trainee VAT consultant. This is a great opportunity to build your career in a fantastic company!
Ideal candidates will have fluency in English and another EU langauge, a business or finance degree and a strong interest in VAT!
At first, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues in relation to the maximising of VAT for refund purposes. This would involve deciding on the eligibility of transactions, ensuring all information and documentation required for a refund is obtained and provided to the relevant taxation authorities.
As your experience develops, you will be introduced to more complex advisory, consulting and compliance services with exposure to clients and suppliers.
Qualifications Necessary:
? Third Level Degree qualification, preferably business, legal, language or accounting
? Fluency in English and a second European language
? Must have the ability to conduct legal/technical research into legislative compliance
