Financial Projects Manager
Description
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller the new position of Financial Projects Manager will be responsible for achieving excellence in the overall management and execution of Group projects in the areas of reporting and performance measurement
Main responsibilities
ü To work with Business Units in planning and delivering projects that are instigated by Group Finance.
ü To work with Group Business Services and the Business Units to ensure that maximum benefits are realised from the Groups SAP platform
ü To work with Business Units to ensure optimal reporting, and where practical consistency of reporting, from the various performance measurement systems across the Group
ü To identify and drive forward value adding projects as required working with the various functions across the Group to ensure the needs of all key stakeholders are reflected in such projects.
The successful candidate
ü Will be an influential, self-driven leader who is a professionally qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, experience in cost / management accounting will be an advantage
ü A technically minded person who will have a proven track record of best practice achievement in a senior finance related role
ü Ideally will have experience in delivering project and or change management within a finance or related discipline and will have a strong understanding and awareness of the disciplines associated with successful project delivery.
ü Will display the ability to communicate comfortably and effectively at all levels.
ü Will demonstrate their commitment to date in driving change to deliver constant improvement and will have proven ability in delivering quality results to a consistent level.
The permanent location can be Dublin or Kilkenny, however the successful candidate must be willing to travel to Group Business Units as required
