Job description: At RICHMOND RECRUITMENT our client is looking to recruit a Storage Operations Specialist.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Day to Day management of the Service Desk at the India COE.
Technical Break Fix issues, both internal and external.
Continuous improvement of tools designed to deliver those Remote Center offerings.
Analyzing and reporting actual to contracted SLA performance levels.
Analyzing the operation for continuous improvement.
Analyzing and planning capacity requirements and reporting as required.


Minimum Skills
3+ experience in Virtual and Physical tape Library technologies and concepts.
3+ experience in Backup/Restore technologies, policies, and trouble shooting procedures.
3+ years experience in System Administration and a knowledge of one or more of the following OS: NT, Solaris, AIX, Linux, or HPUX (depending on client infrastructure).
Looking for candidates with Veritas Backup experience to.
Programming skills with Operating System scripting languages would be an advantage.
