At Richmond Recruitment our client is looking to recruit a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
Primary Tasks
· The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software life cycle i.e. requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration and testing as part of a multi-site development team.
· The successful candidate will be expected to participate in design reviews, code reviews etc as required. This will involve some travel.
· The successful candidate will be expected to work towards achievement of defined project goals/milestones within tight project schedules.
Associated Tasks
· Design team member in an ISO9OO1 environment.
· Achieve defined project goals / milestones within tight project schedules.
Required Education
· 2nd Class Honour's degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. A PhD or MSc is an advantage.
Required Skills
· The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
· The successful candidate will be proficient in the C language.
· The successful candidate should have a demonstrated ability in the design and development of hard real-time embedded systems to defined project schedules.
