The Management Accountant will faithfully and diligently undertake and perform the duties assigned to him in relation to his position as Management Accountant. He will devote the whole of his time, attention, abilities, expertise and skills to carrying out his duties hereunder during normal working hours and at such other times as may be required by the needs of the company or the nature of the Management Accountant duties.
The Management Accountant will carry out his duties in a proper and efficient manner and use his best endeavours to maintain, protect and promote the business interests, reputation and welfare of the company. It is implied that there would be a non-disclosure of confidential information, assessed or obtained during the performance of his duties and he shall comply with the performance objectives agreed as adjusted from time to time.
Duties:
Ø Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and analysis of the individual accounts. (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet). Preparation of Month End Reports for Corporate headquarters.
Ø Maintenance of weekly cashflow reports
Ø Preparation of V.A.T. / P.A.Y.E. & P.R.S.I. Returns
Ø Verification and reconciliation of VAT returns for France, Spain, Germany and Italy
Ø Involved in the preparation of the Annual Budget and Reforecasts during the year
Ø Petty cash and Visa reconciliation
Ø Uploading Debtor receipts onto system
Ø Involved in the implementation of an integrated accounts system (ROSS), which has been partly implemented at present. Any previous implementation experience would be desirable. Strong I.T. skills would be required.
