Job description: Urgent rolling contract nature, 2nd level support engineer candidate. Your skillset to cover Win Xp, Ms Office, Laptops, Active Directory. In addition to these tasks normally expected of a Helpdesk analyst, the Senior Analysts are expected to; Monitor the Helpdesk call queue, ensuring all calls are resolved within the timeframe set out in the Helpdesk SLA Maintain the Helpdesk knowledgebase Generate weekly and monthly reports for IT management Coordinate all training for new Helpdesk employees Manage ongoing or ad-hoc projects as required Software Supported: The Microsoft Office 2003 suite. Windows XP Hardware Supported: All Client PC hardware, Desktops, Laptops Mobile phones, mobile data devices (Blackberry and 3G) and Desk side phones Requirements : An excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systems Excellent customer support skills and a proven record in a customer support environment Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Strong inter-personal skills Good organizational skills Extensive training will be provided for the above suite of applications, but we would expect any applicant to have an excellent understanding of the Microsoft office suite, and Windows operating system. Previous experience in an IT support environment would also be extremely beneficial. The senior analyst will also be given the opportunity to pursue a variety of other training and certification options throughout their career.
