Job description: At RICHMOND RECRUITMENT our client is looking to recruit a Software Engineer.

Responsibilities
This person filling this position will play an important
role in the Technical Implementation Services organization,
part of our clients, Global Solutions Group, which provides
planning, design, implementation and management services to
there global clients.
The specific focus for this role is the design and
development of state of art SAN design and business
continuity tools which will enable our clients field
engineers to deliver higher value service offerings to there
customers.

Experience and Education
The Senior Software Engineer/Solutions Architects are expected to have the following competencies:

- Strong Java skills essential.

- Knowledge of Python, C, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle an advantage.

- Design skills and detailed knowledge of the software life cycle.

- Knowledge of Storage systems a distinct advantage.

- Knowledge of Unix and windows systems administration

- Broad based understanding of enterprise software and solutions within the data centre environment

Bachelor's degree and 5 to 10 years experience or equivalent.
