Job description:

At RICHMOND RECRUITMENT our client is looking to recruit a Business Analyst for a 12 month contract.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for all accounting applications by driving the resolution of functional and technical issues, and
working with IM and users to implement enhancements and customisations.  Work with the Finance team, Finance Operations and IM staff to implement new solutions. 

Analyse issues, gather requirements for new solutions, perform gap analysis, and then translate the business requirements into technical solutions or new business processes that close the gap.  Participate in User Acceptance Testing to compare actual with expected results. Prepare end-user and technical documentation. Train end-users. Support end users on projects that have gone live.  Maintain the dashboards :
a) Helpdesk calls tracker.
b) List of finance systems issues
Ad hoc systems queries that arise on a day-to-day basis.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Recently Qualified Accountant with at least three years experience. Experience of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system ideally JD EDWARDS. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people using strong written and oral communication skills. Willing to work in a flexible environment. Good personal computer skills - ideally Microsoft Office. MUST be a Qualified Accountant.
