SOX IT/IS Auditor, Dublin, 9 Month Contract, Pharmaceutical Sector
Our large multinational pharmaceutical client requires an IT/IS Auditor to review & update current IS documentation as part of their overall internal audit and SOX compliance efforts.
Your role will involve
Preparing a testing approach and method for IT/IS to ensure continued compliance with internal audit objectives and SOX
Devising practical solutions, and offering advice and guidance to issues that arise in the course of this work
Identifying the needs and best methods to improve risk management and internal control across the entire Group
You will need to have /be
Qualified accountant with solid experience of the internal control issues around IT/IS OR experienced IT professional with experience in Internal Audit and, in particular, the specific control objectives around financial systems
Experience in implementation and documentation of Sarbanes Oxley and Internal Control Evaluation
Experience as an auditor of IT/IS (if coming from an accounting background) or experience in the IT/IS audit process (if coming from an IT background)
Good organizational skills, as the role will be driven to deadlines
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written) able to build strong relationships across number of sites and regions and required to work with a dynamic team
