Job description: Audit SeniorYou will be responsible for delivering an external audit/advisory service to a wide range of clients in a number of sectors in a timely and efficient manner and to timescales and budgets agreed.Responsibilities: 1. Pre-audit scoping, preparation of briefs, identification of audit risks and proposals for resolution. 2. Review of draft financial statements ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards 3. Preparation and control of audit files and budgets 4. Completion of systems and compliance based audit programmes 5. Completion of audit business summaries and reports of issues to Partner 6. Meeting with management to discuss issues raised, liaison and progress meetings with Partner 7. Supervision and development of junior staff/trainees as required 8. Staff appraisal and development forms on completion of each job.Requirements:-Qualified ACCA/ACA accountant -A minimum of 2 years experience in Practice in a similar role.- You must have an understanding of the role and function of external audit within an organisation.-Awareness and understanding of different audit approaches (systems, compliance, value for money etc.)Please contact Claire Lane- 01 6455204 or submit your CV for immediate consideration.
