A client of Richmond Recruitment are currently looking for a Product Manager.
Our client is seeking a mid to senior level Product Manager for their embedded imaging product line. This key
inbound marketing position will drive the focus of the company's product portfolio based on the analysis of the
market opportunities, current and future client base, competitive environment, the company's development and management expertise and availability of development resources. Our clients current embedded imaging product line includes digital red-eye detection and removal, face detection and tracking, dust detection and removal, and motion blur correction.
Responsibilities Include:
Analyzing and assessing market and revenue opportunities
Setting product strategies and priorities
Championing allocation of development resources
Writing product market requirements for each product including identification of customers, end-user use scenarios, function specification and possibly user interface specifications through active discussion with customers, business development and on-going industry/market review
Liaising with engineering project manager monitoring development schedules while representing marketing/customer and business development voice in development process
Insuring that products are delivered on time while monitoring competitive and market based pressures.
Working with development team to provide on-going customer and market feedback to development process
Working with Business Development to integrate customer feedback into product definition
Qualifications
3-5years experience in product management function
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Good listening skills a must.
Preferred (but not required) experience in imaging related industries
Self-motivating, self-starter with good organizational skills
Technical background/degree and project management experience are a plus
Some travel required, approximately once per quarter to Ireland and occasionally Japan/Korea.
