Job description:
A Limerick based multi national company requires a Business Objects Specialist. Duties:You will be responsible for initially scope the project, performing appropriate level of business analysis with key stakeholders. Liaise and work with European offices on existing architecture. Develop and deploy the Business Objects data warehouse capability under validated guidelines. Perform ongoing maintenance of the system. Continually drive the development of this system in line with the needs of the business and relevant changes in technology. Provide guidance and support to colleagues and key users of the system acting as the primary point of reference for the system. Proactively work with the business on data analysis and reporting initiatives that would be of benefit to the business. Requirements:You will have 4-5 years experience in software design, development and analysis, preferably gained in a multi-national environment and encompassing all aspects of the product lifecycle with a Degree in Computer Science or related field of study. Strong database design and development skills and experience of working in a JBase/SQL environment is essential. This experience must include a demonstrable track record in Business Objects design, implementation and development. Salary: €40-50K + Benefits.
