Key Responsibilities:
People
· Lead and motivate multiple teams in the Barcelona and off-shore to achieve and deliver
· Identify strengths of assigned personnel, define career growth path and provide support and guidance
· Identify development needs of assigned personnel and define support and training needed to improve those
· Seek and participate in development opportunities above and beyond training officially required / assigned
· Define training plans for the area
· Hire and retain top talent within and outside the organization
· Set challenging performance targets for the teams in the area and revise these to reflect change in business strategy and priorities
· Document staff performance management, one to one sessions and personal development plans
Business
· Monitor performance against set targets, define corrective actions and support needed if these are not met
· Ensure MI correctness, accuracy and timely submissions
· Evaluate performance on regular one to one sessions and propose pay increases and promotions
· Hold team meetings and keep staff up to date with business priorities and changes in strategy
· Plan resource requirements to ensure SLAs are met and customers not affected by delays or unavailability of people
· Eliminate single points of failure in the area by cross training staff
· Monitor available capacity utilization, identify reasons for lost productivity time and implement changes to eliminate these
· Maintain defined service levels for all processes in the area
· Maintain and revise Key Performance indicators for all processes / teams
Processes
· Identify and understand process risks and implement relevant level of control and quality checking to mitigate them
· Identify root cause of service breakages and control failures and define corrective actions plans
· Monitor Operational losses, investigate reasons for losses and implement process changes or additional controls to minimize them
· Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations relevant for the area and keep up to date teams with changes
· Define Operating procedures and ensure adherence
· Compile and revise Process documentation to reflect changes and keep documentation up to date
· Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements based on lean principles
· Understand products supported in the area and keep themselves and teams up to date with changes
