Our client, an Global Investment Bank requires a Senior Accountant.
This is a Regulatory reporting role with exposure to and extensive involvement in all Financial Control Functions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Developing a thorough understanding of the global Basel II solution.
-Production & delivery of the monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting returns (including COREP, FINREP, Large Exposure, Liquidity & Statistical Returns).
-Managing the daily monitoring process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
-Developing and driving various projects managed by Financial Control in particular those relating to BASEL II.
-Maintenance and further development of key controls & reports including reconciliations, static data & variance analysis
-Liaising with multiple departments (including Operations, Treasury, Risk Department and Accounting Manager) to resolve issues
-Contributing to financial control duties as required
Knowledge/Experience:
-Good knowledge of Basel II requirements and the implications for the Financial Services Industry
-Knowledge of Irish GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification & have experience in Financial Services
