In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join their prestigious team.
Our Client:
Our client is a fast expanding renewable energy company that have recently diversified into the wind turbine market. They are currently developing state of the art multi KW turbines and are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive the business forward.
Sales Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical advice and support to installers and field sales staff on a wide range of wind turbine products, and particular the most suitable turbine capacity and configuration for a given site and user
Advice and support accredited installers on planning applications, grid connections and other regulatory requirements associated with turbine installation
Provide technical support to internal sales administration and warranty / service teams
Carry out site visits as required, both pre sales and after sales, to assist accredited installers with technical, planning or other issues that may arise
-Interface with planning portals to ensure all sales opportunities are captured
-Attendance of trade shows, training seminars and other events to represent and promote the product
Criteria for Sales Engineer Job
Degree or HND level qualification in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage with customers in both commercial and technical discussions
High level of IT literacy and preferably some experience of CAD systems
Mobility to travel on business to GB or further as required
Experience of the wind turbine sector would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training will be given
The role will report to the Wind Turbine Product Manager with a close working relationship to the sales team and technical staff.
Initial salary will be in £20k - £25k range depending on experience and qualifications. The role offers excellent benefits in terms of pension scheme membership, life assurance and disability cover and also offers exceptional career development opportunities
