Job description: Company: As one of Silicon Valley's most admired companies, our client has developed a suite of technology products and services that over 70% of the Fortune 500 trust. They are now growing their EMEA direct sales operation from Ireland and have a vacancy for a French speaking Southern European Sales Manager.

Role: They have recently established their European Sales function in Cork, Ireland. This team is responsible for selling their hardware and software services and solutions to customers across Europe. Their inside sales teams work closely with lead generation, Country Marketing and in-country sales teams to drive revenue to new and existing customers.

A new position has been created for a Southern European Inside Sales Manager. This is a sales management role that involves managing a team of IT sales professionals covering the French, Spanish and Italian markets. The sales manager will manage the sales team, setting targets, driving revenues, assisting with sales development & sales methodologies and hiring new staff.

This is a key position that will see you manage their growing European customer base with multi-million euro turnover.

Skills: To be considered for this role you will need to be a fluent French speaker and have a track record in managing a sales team. Candidates should be able to demonstrate 2-4 years sales management as well as a background in sales. Candidates that have worked in IT sales or telesales operations are preferred as the environment is very sales focused requiring solid sales management. Candidates with fluency in Italian and Spanish or knowledge of managing these markets are preferred. The successful candidate should be able to work under pressure, motivate the team, set targets and drive the sales staff to exceed targets.
