Job description: Shift Production Supervisor Job Description This position will report to the Process Shift Manager. The successful candidate will be part of the manufacturing shift team. Responsibilities will include maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality within the department. The person selected will work closely with the Process Shift Manager ensuring the smooth operation of the processing department. The main duties will consist of stock control, ingredient allocation, compliance, operator training and ensuring achievement of the production schedule. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate as a team member in process projects. The processing area operates 7 days a week 24 hours a day. This role will involve shift work. Skills/Experience Requirements The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, as well as analytical and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will work well on his/her own initiative, make sound decisions and have demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Experience in a food, beverage or pharmaceutical industry with supervisory experience would be an advantage. Good computer skills will be required for this role
