My client based in Galway now have a requirement for a Software Developer to join their team. Experience in Java or C++ Required along with C#/.NET desirable!
Responsibilities;
- Develop code for new and existing products
- Assist in formulating customer requirements
- Contribute to the design of products and solutions
- Troubleshoot product problems; work with TS on customer issues
- Participate in software inspections
Skills/Experience;
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years software development in Microsoft Windows, Linux or Unix Systems
- Experience in Java or C++ required
- Experience in C# or .NET Desirable
- Experience in networking protocols SNMP, web technologies AJAX, security protocols and object oriented development
- Proven track record of identifying and solving problems
- Ability to work on complex tasks without supervision
- Adaptable and flexible
- Demonstrated understanding of software development processes
- Ability to meet mutually agreed goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Team working skills
Please note: Some domestic and international travel will be required. Also, the role may require longer than 8 hour a day and occasional weekend work depending on the projects the engineers are working on!
