Job description:
Inventory Controller Position Summary Reporting to Supply Chain Manager with a responsibility for Inventory accuracy within Supply Chain. Responsible for our client's Stock Accuracy and Maintaining Metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign personnel to check all incoming components. ( This involves making sure that every component which is delivered is thoroughly checked if required, that the correct quantity is received on our Inventory control system.
• Organise transfer of product to Quarantine Inspection and then organise movement to stores when checked.
• Making sure documentation is correct on incoming and out going products.
• Inform Purchasing Dept. of any discrepancies between actual quantity / parts delivered with paperwork.
• Transfer components both physically and on Inventory control system to locations within main store.
• Deal with any queries from Purchasing and QC. - (Checking invoices and delivery dockets).
• Pick and ship product as required.
• Complete responsibility of Inventory accuracy for components and Finished Goods within Stores.
• Check and receive/ship all traded products.
• Major role in full inventory counts.
• Manage daily housekeeping.
• Developed and implemented weekly cycle counting system, which is central to the inventory control system and procedures.
• Validates the results of cycle counting and ensures the process is being adhered to.
• Provides management information on a weekly basis if necessary of any concerns/issues.
• Responsible for day to day co-ordinating of Warehouse and its staff.

Candidate Profile

Excellent communication skills.
Expertise in Stock Control Procedures.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and associated packages.
APICS Cert or Equivalent would be preferable.
Good Working Knowledge of Cycle Counting.
