Job description:

Audit Senior Required for Cork City Office

Overview:

Our client is now looking for recently qualified accountants with proven accounting and business skills developed through at least three years experience in an accountancy practice.

Successful candidates will have a hands-on approach with strong interpersonal and client service skills.

Role:

Audit Senior

• Responsibility for a portfolio of audit clients
• Planning of audit - timing, staffing and structure
• Liaising closely with clients
• Preparing and reviewing audit work papers
• Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Liaising with directors and partners, as well as other professionals including Tax, Banks etc.
• Preparation of reports to management on issues identified during the audit
• Responsibility for managing the successful completion of the audit

 

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
• Excellent knowledge and experience of accounting and auditing
• Good analytical skills.
• Strong team leading, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ambitious with drive, commitment and enthusiasm.
• Strong project management skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office and accounting software
