Job description:

Project Manager (Technical), Dublin City Centre, Contract 6+ months

Vantage Resources urgently require an experienced Technical Project Manager for one of our largest Financial Services clients. The role will be based in Dublin city centre with an initial contract offer of 6 months. This is a newly created position responsible for the project management of various technical projects for our clients Global Applications division.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar Project Management capacity covering standard PM skills including the following

Project planning, management & coordination
Review and evaluation of technical requirements
Producing estimates and work schedules
Implement necessary project templates, tracking and reporting activities
Ensure proactive project management through to completion
Ensuring projects are managed within budget

This role will also have a strong emphasis on applications development and web based technologies including

Previous applications development knowledge (VB.Net/C#.Net)
Strong RDBMS skills (SQL Server)
Strong web based technology development knowledge (IIS/HTTP etc)
Exposure to a Financial Services environment is preferable but not essential
