Job description:  
Our multi-national client based in West Cork is recruiting a credit control team member to join their finance team.

The role, working as part of a team will include:

• Responsible for debt collection, research and resolution of customer payment queries and discrepancies
• Follow up outstanding payments with customers over the telephone
• Have a pleasant and diplomatic manner with customers
• Process customer refund requests due to overpayments or duplicate payments
• Ensure that misapplication of cash is resolved in a timely fashion
• Complete monthly AR reporting schedules as part of monthly financial close package
• Perform all other job related tasks as required.
  

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Fluency in English is required
• Min of 1-2 years previous Credit Control experience required
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft desirable but not essential. Experience of any accounting package an advantage
• Knowledge and use of computer packages (excel, word etc)
• Excellent communication skills - telephone, written & in person
