Job description:

Our Galway based Client is URGENTLY looking for a PROCESS ENGINEER.

A one year assignment working in Galway to provide support for an automated assembly line.

Duties:
-    Maintain and improve safety of operation, quality, capacity and reduce cost of manufacture. 
-    Design, develop and implement assembly process improvements.
-    Explore and implement design, material and manufacturing improvements to current designs and processes.
-    Source and ramp new assembly lines as needed to meet capacity requirements.
-    Support new Customer business.

Requirements:
-    Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
-    5+ years experience one or more of the following areas: Statistical Process Control, Machine Design, Product Design, Design of Experiments, and Process Development/Optimisation.
-    Experience in equipment design using Pro/E, Solidworks or other Product Design tools would be an advantage.
