A Qualified Financial Accounts role has arisen in the IFSC. This position will afford a challenging career and competitive salary!

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Produce management accounts and variance analysis as required by management and group

Prepare financial and tax returns in accordance with EU GAAP and US GAAP

Treasury management, including monitoring cash movements in all European bank accounts and foreign exchange settlements

Prepare financial analysis for monthly group reporting and liaise with international offices for intercompany reconciliations

Liaise with internal and external auditors

Assist with the credit assessment of clients and maintain client register

Payroll and pensions

Ensure the quality and efficiency of all transaction processing and administration

Maintain business risk and control matrix in compliance with SOX

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience:

Qualified accountant with a strong academic track record at leaving cert, university (2.1) and professional exams.

Qualified through audit practice or industry.

Experience of financial reporting processes

Quality mindset - with commitment to continuous improvement and delivering right solutions first time

Good PC skills, in particular Excel and Word.

Excellent analytical skills

Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Experience of multiple currencies & group reporting

Experience with GL package, (Sun/JD Edwards/Hyperion) preferable but not essential.
