GOA, the video gaming department of one of the World's largest Communications companies, is recruiting for a Security Administrator to join their operations in Dublin City Centre as they launch their latest release, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning and their casual online gaming portal, GOA.com.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in setting up the production platform Networking and Security infrastructure
- Manage and upgrade the systems to ensure high-level security, efficiency, availability and service.
· Create and Administrate Network Systems with a focus on Security
· Manage interconnections between Internal and external Networks
· Develop and maintain documentation on Networks and Network Security and initialise Networking procedures for the company
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, Firewalls (Pf, Netfilter/iptables, Checkpoint, Shorewall), Cisco Hardware (routers, switches) and Network Design. Experience working with and configuring Cisco IOS, Cisco PIX, Routing Protocols (BGP, VRRP, Spanning Tree Protocol, EIGRP) and Load Balancing. Network and Security Hardware support skills. Hands-on Security Auditing, Penetration Testing, Port Scanning and Vulnerability Scanning experience. Experience working with OS (Linux) and application logs. Knowledge of Rootkits and rootkit detection, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Monitoring, Packet Sniffing, Distributed Denial of Service (dDOS), SYN flooding and spoofing. Experience installing, configuring and hardening Linux.
Demonstrable experience with any or all of the following an advantage; Nessus, Snort, Tcpdump, OpenSSH, Tripwire, chkrootkit, iptables, SELinux, SAINT, OpenVPN, Bastille, WireShark, Nagios, Squid, Cacti. Operating Systems (RedHat, Debian, BSD, Win2k)
