 SALES ENGINEER

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will possess the following :
· An electrical or mechanical engineering qualification, or time served at a technical, electrical or mechanical trade

· Proven sales experience, preferably in technical sales

· An outgoing personality, with excellent commercial and communication skills

· Enthusiasm and self-motivation

Pneumatics knowledge would be an advantage.

A full clean drivers licence is essential for these positions.

Duties

1. Call on existing accounts to ensure that our Client's business to existing customers in the territory is maximised.

2. Seek out and develop new accounts for our Client's range of products.

3. Develop new resale outlets and support such stockists with any product training that may be required.

4. To be aware of and report on any competitive activity within the territory (e.g. new products, special price deals etc.)

5. To be involved in any exhibitions that the Company may hold from time to time.

6. Make and work to call plans that will enable customers and potential accounts to be effectively and efficiently covered.

7. Maintain accurate sales and marketing information records.

8. Report regularly on weekly sales activity and business developments.

9. Make occasional deliveries to customers if appropriate in the normal course of work.

10. Attend sales and product meetings as required from time to time.

11. Maintain sufficient contact with other members of the organisation to ensure that good communications between customers and the Company are achieved.

12. Undertake any special projects that may be required.

13. Meet the financial targets agreed annually.

14. Provide a service to the designated area in the most cost effective manner possible.

15. Comply with Company policies.

16. Carry out such other activities as may be required by Management on an ad hoc

basis.

· Automation technician

· Maintenance technician

· Electrical apprentice, leading to Equipment maintenance technician

· Service Engineer

· Maintenance electrician

· Project engineer

· Engineering technician.
