The role: Sales and Marketing manager.
Our Client offers guests luxurious accommodation, fine dinning, and leading edge conference facilities.
It is now looking for a Sales and Marketing manager to assist the General Manager with the sales of the hotel through penetration of the corporate market place, conference & banqueting and food & beverage business.
Main Duties:
- To achieve the sales budget set out for the hotel and to work with the General Manager in finding new leisure and conference business for the hotel.
- To maintain and maximise existing corporate and conference databases.
- To work with the sales team on the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management System. Developing and sustaining business relationships.
- To put together a local advertising, marketing and PR programme using the local marketing budgets.
- To undertake sales calls to identified market segments.
· To assist the General Manager in the development of the hotel's advertising and promotional plans.
- Regular monitoring and benchmarking of competitor activities in terms of pricing/promotions and check other hotels out in person - board spotting.
The candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience. at a corporate level
- Excellent Organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Hotel sales experience an advantage however we do welcome applicants with previous experience in another industry.
