Job description: Our client is looking ot recruit a Team Leader.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. Fund Expenses Review and authorise all management fee and fund expense payments, ensuring that all payments are processed within agreed client and payment deadlines Monitor team workloads and ensure fair client allocationsMonitor and clear outstanding reconciliation items Ensure up-to-date maintenance of Client Accounting database and client profilesEnsure work procedures are in place and kept up to dateEnsure KPI's are in place and are monitored closelyWork on process improvement projects, as requiredTaxReview and submission of VAT returnsReconcile external VAT accountArrange VAT registration for new funds, if required Team LeadershipComplete annual and interim performance appraisals for all team membersRecruit new team members, when requiredTrain new team members on a variety of internal and external payment systems and processes New Business Liaise with new clients, other operational departments and the Relationship Managers to agree and set up procedures for payment of fund expenses and management fees for new clients SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Experience in an accounts payable supervisory role Good experience of working in teams and demonstrates ability to supervise a team Strong knowledge of Excel Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to check and identify errors in paymentsAbility to work in high volume environment Demonstrates understanding of the need for high-touch client service Demonstrates commitment to producing high quality work and to timeframes requiredContact Siobhan Ryan at siobhan.ryan@cpl.ie & call 061-221701
