A rapidly expanding freight forwarder based in Dublin West is offering an excellent package for the right candidate. They represent foreign shipping lines offering multi-modal transport services and operating both freight forwarding and warehousing facilities.
Responsibilities of Role
Preparation of export bookings and documentation.
Preparation of import files, documentation and various other reports.
Arranging Transport
Customs Clearance
Liaison with equipment control department (cntr availability)
Dealing with customer queries
Handling LCL / Groupage shipments / containers
Preparing freight accounts and quotations
Handling suppliers' invoices
Handling claim procedures
Personal Attributes
Excellent IT skills, some knowledge of AS400 preferred
Good verbal and written skills, especially telephone manners
Very well organised
Open minded team player
Someone who can work independently an under pressure
Essential
Two years experience with Irish customs procedures
