Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in South Dublin, are looking for a QC Associate for a 12 month temporary contract. The successful applicant will join the dynamic QC Biologics Team responsible to ensure that company products are manufactured to the highest international standards, regulatory requirements, cGMP and site procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: QC Testing of Raw Materials, In Process and Finished Product.Assist in completion of Laboratory Investigation Reports, Deviations and Change Control.Training of Q.C Laboratory colleagues on transfer testing procedures.Equipment and Process Qualification protocol execution.Method Validation Protocol execution.Cleaning Validation Protocol execution.Transfer of Analytical Methods to / from the site.Knowledge and Experience: The successful candidate will: Hold a third level qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology.Have relevant experience in a pharmaceutical cGMP laboratory.Willing to work on the 24/5 shift pattern to support in-process for Bioprocess and PM2.Proven industrial experience with analytical separation techniques including HPLC is required.Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel.Have strong report writing skills.Be detail oriented, self motivated with good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.Be a self starter and capable of working on own initiative.Strong team work skills.
