The Role:
o The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project Cost Control from inception to completion i.e. preparation of cost estimates, compilation of Bills of Quantities, contract set-up, evaluation and agreement of progress applications, variations and Final Accounts
o You will have the opportunity to work on varying Civil Engineering type projects such as roads and bridges, main drainage, water supply, marina, landfill & remediation, urban renewal and site development
o The position is office based but you will be expected to attend site for progress meetings and evaluation of progress applications, etc.
o You will be reporting to the Civil Engineering QS Regional Director
· The Candidate:
o You will have the relevant qualifications in a Construction / Quantity Surveying related discipline
o You will have 2 - 4 years experience in the Civil Engineering Sector or
o You will have 3 - 5 years experience in general quantity surveying with a keen interest in moving into the Civil Engineering QS field.
o You will have some experience, plus a keen interest, in claims evaluation and a working knowledge of contracts
o You will be a cost focused team player, keen in furthering your career.
