Our Client, one of the Top 50 Best Companies to work for in Ireland, based in Dublin 15 is looking for an

Internal Controls Analyst

· To perform independent audit reviews and testing within the Irish operation in accordance with Sarbanes and Oxley requirements and to support the business

with it's ICMP responsibilities.

· To report on audit findings and support the business in recommending actions to address.

· To monitor open action items through to closure.

To establish a process for capturing all process improvements identified and ensure that these improvements are evaluated and implemented where appropriate

Key Role Tasks and Activities:

· Develop and implement relevant programs for periodic inspection of transaction processes.

· Perform audit testing, identifying areas of non-conformance with internal policies

and standards.

· Prepare audit work-papers, which support test work, findings and conclusions.

· Develop and get agreement to audit findings and recommendations.

· Conduct regular meetings to follow up on open corrective

· Review process documentation to identify areas of improvement and adherence to documentation standards.

· In conjunction with process users, identify methods to ensure that controls support rather than hinder operational effectiveness.

· Review of internal control checklists (ICMP)

· Preparation for and participation in Management Audit Committee (MAC)

Meetings.

· Other issues relating to Internal Control

Education and Experience:

· Qualified or Qualified By Experience Accountant.

· 2-5 Years Experience gained in a similar or relevant role within a multinational environment.

· Previous exposure to Sarbanes Oxley requirements a distinct advantage

· Experience of SAP preferable

Skills & Knowledge:

· Capable of working on own initiative with a real “get up and do it attitude”.

· Excellent time management and organisational skills with follow through ability

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work under Pressure to Strict Deadlines/Timetables.

· Strong Business Acumen.
