IT Administrator within Retail industry - 1 yrs exp. 22-25K
Our client, a well established retail company in the centre of Cork City are looking for a competent PC user to maintain their point of sale system's database ensuring smooth running of day to day business.
They are looking for someone who is eager & motivated to learn, and has the following skills:
Ø Proficient PC Skills are essential
Ø Knowledge of a Retail Environment & Logistics
Ø Knowledge of SQL is an advantage but not essential
This position entails the following:
Ø Maintaining the point of sale system ensuring that all aspects of our product information for our retail system are kept current and correct according to our strict standards.
Ø This includes ensuring product stock is kept up to date and correct (involving stock takes to be performed where there are discrepancies), managing goods inward, organisation of stock at our retail premises (shelving bin locations etc.) and also ensuring product weights, descriptions, product photos, pricing, sales & promotions, and other related product attributes are kept accurate.
