Job description:  

Our Multinational Client based in Clare has a requirement for a Product Planner.

Duties:

• Work closely with Production, Engineering and other relevant functions to ensure capacity planning process is used to manage manufacturing requirements, throughput and queue levels.
• Manage customer order fulfillment activities.
• Co-ordinate schedule completion from various work cells to ensure on-time customer shipment of entire orders
• Drive process changes to optimize the fullfillment of sales orders.
• Plan material availability and inventory levels for product line. Ensure buyers execute to material plan.
• Monitor and prioritize shipping backlog.
• Coordinate special shipping instructions with the shipping team and project management group.
• Perform Oracle shipping transactions to generate shipping paperwork - as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3+ years planning experience
• Third level qualification (preferably in a Business or Engineering related discipline)
• Member of IPICS/IIPMM/APICS
• Experience in an ERP environment is essential, Oracle Knowledge
