My client based in Cork now require a 6 month Contract Software Web Developer. This position will be a daily rate, for an initial 6 months but could be extended there after depending on the project/future projects.
Excellent opportunity for a strong .net Web Developer with e-commerce and multimedia experience to work with one of the largest software houses in Ireland. The ideal candidate will work on the design and development of the release on the ecommerce applications
Technical Experience Required:
· Multimedia/Ecommerce Web Development experience
· Minimum of 2+ years commercial web development experience
· Technical experience; .NET, Classic ASP, SQL and Flash Development
· Experience coding eCommerce application in Flash CS3 with Actionscript 3.0
· Good knowledge and experience of SQL (Sql Server 2000/2005)
· Strong OO Programming Principles
· Experience working as part of a client support team
· Experience with requirement gathering and production of technical specifications
Qualifications Required:
· Degree in Software Development/Computing but preferably in Multimedia Development
Desirable Technical Capabilities:
· XML - specifically manipulation using E4X within Actionscript 3.0
· ASP.NET - Experience building eCommerce applications using C#
· Photoshop CS3
· CSS
· Custom Javascript development (exposure to JSON would be an advantage)
· Any exposure to Silverlight 1.1 & 2.0 would be an advantage.
