Job description:  At Richmond Recruitment we are currently recruiting a Production Support Engineer.

Summary
The successful candidate will troubleshoot software and hardware related to service offerings and products. The key objectives will be to provide 1st and 2nd tier support for Premiere's call center, provide set-up, configuration and general support for 3rd party integration efforts. Assemble and test conferencing systems (hardware, operating system, network, etc) for test and production environments.

Ensure that daily systems operations in the department are running smoothly and efficiently
Maintain and continuously improve product knowledge and job skills

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computing required (or other similar qualification)
• 2 years IT systems experience essential
• Microsoft certification (minimum MCP level)
• Knowledge of Linux an advantage
• General knowledge of Web systems, database, application development, testing, and PC-based hardware required
• Telephony support knowledge/experience a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Ability and flexibility to work overtime and alternate shifts as job needs require.
• Ability and flexibility to perform all other job-related and ad-hoc duties as required
