Job description:  

Main Tasks:

• MANUFACTURING/ MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
• Analyse existing operating methods and initiate and develop new methods to improve efficiencies, safety, quality and cost for the organisation.
• Ensure that all projects, maintenance and services work carried out by and for the company, conforms to the agreed costs, specification, drawings and to any local or national regulations governing these activities.
• Provide technical expertise to support the plastic injection moulding requirements of the plant.
• Provide technical expertise with root cause failure analysis for any impact to plant or production equipment.
• Review engineering change orders to assess impacts to processes and provide assistance in activities involving new product introductions and transfers to the Wexford plant
• Provide support for the design, installation and debug of tooling and capital equipment.
• Provide support for the Preventive Maintenance and Calibration programs.
• Ensure compliance with the ISO Quality system in all activities

Experience Required:

• MANUFACTURING/ MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
• B.Eng (Mechanical, Production, Electronic) or equivalent academic qualifications.
• Previous Industrial work experience in an ISO, GMP, Six Sigma environment.
• Sound general Engineering base with a good working knowledge of Electrical, Electronic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working or liaising within a plastic injection moulding environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical instruments.
• Understanding of ISO 9000, ISO 13485 Quality systems.
