Our Client currently require enthusiastic, driven, experienced DB2 Functional Quality Assurance Team Leader to join world's leading technology company
Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership to other FVT testers as part of the DB2 QA organization. You must be able to define schedules, communicate status to the entire DB2 organization, and independently manage and prioritize your work and the work of your team. In addition to strong leadership skills, you will be responsible for owning, designing and implementing test plans for new DB2 features and for providing continuous input to the development organization throughout the DB2 product lifecycle.
The DB2 FVT test programs are developed using a variety of languages including Java, C, SQL, ODBC, JDBC, Perl, and XML, and run on all DB2 supported platforms such as AIX, Linux, Windows, Sun. As part of test execution, you are required to analyse and debug failures and communicate directly with other testers and developers to ensure high quality solutions are found.
Required
At least 5 years experience in Perform Quality Assurance
English: Fluent
Skills
- 5+ years of testing/leadership experience
- Programming skills in SQL is required.
- Programming skills in Java , Perl, PHP, C,C++and XML is an asset.
