Job description: At RICHMOND RECRUITMENT our client is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer (Foundry).PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:Provide support across all key process areas within the Foundry such as Tooling, Wax Injection, Gating, Ceramic Shell Building, De-waxing, Casting, Finishing & Inspection. Assist in the identification of capital spend and budget requirements for new products. Develop and Implement Detailed Project Plans for NPI/Cut Over Projects. Provide timely and accurate reporting on projectactivities. Determine facility and equipment layouts for production within the Foundry. Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues. Provide engineering and quality principles in support of a World Class Manufacturing Facility.QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Engineering (Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical/ Manufacturing) or equivalent.EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2 years directly related investment casting experience. Excellent knowledge of a wide varietyof casting alloys including cobalt base alloys.
