Customer Service Manager

The Bids & Contracts Manager is directly responsible for the management of the Bids & Contracts team. With this responsibility the Manager is required to continuously evaluate, train and decide how resources will be used within the team and to ensure that performance appraisals of team members are carried out to ensure long range focus and team improvement in the objective of meeting specified targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all quote and order processing activity for the Longford facility in line with division requirements.
  • Manage / develop the Bids & Contracts personnel and ensure adequate training to ensure first class service to customers.
  • Manage costs code of the Bids & Contracts group to ensure adherence to Group budget.
  • Co-Ordinate with Sales & Marketing to obtain forecast bookings in detail for the Longford facility and interpret data for other departments.
  • Generate required monthly reports and weekly IOI's.
  • Generate / maintain customer service manual and procedures in accordance with our client and ISO requirements.
  • Generate and maintain competitor pricing data.
  • Manage sales order documentation and submittal process.
  • Address general customer queries / demands.
  • Assist other departments with customer related issues
  • Attend / run all customer meetings / visits to the Longford facility.
  • Perform other related duties as delegated by the Plant Manager.

Skills:

  • Significant previous experience of managing and leading a team of people in a highly dynamic and performance oriented environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support team.
  • Relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven track record in technical sales and account management.
  • Negotiating and communicating with customers and stakeholders.
  • Analysing data, problem solving and decision making.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry in an engineering environment.
