At Oak Recruitment our client is looking to recruita Sous Chef based in West Cork.
Our Clients hotel has a strong F&B business including bar food, restaurant, weddings and conferences. Our Client is looking to appoint a Sous Chef. This individual must be able to lead from the front and direct the team in terms of consistent high quality food output, presentation etc.
The correct candidate would be able to run the kitchen when required, whilst developing a good rapport with fellow staff members, working strongly as a team member and confidently as an individual.
A high level of kitchen skill is a must and a solid catering background would be highly beneficial.
You would be working in a large kitchen alongside the Head Chef to lead and motivate a very enthusiastic and vibrant team.
This would be the perfect opportunity for an experience Chef wishing to move on in their career and take on some of the responsibilities that come with the running of a large kitchen whilst still having the reassurances a guideline orchestrated by the head chef.
The successful candidate will have worked in a 4/5* English speaking hotel, preparing and cooking modern European food. They will hold a valid working visa allowing them to work full time in Ireland. The salary for this role is negotiable and will reflect an individual's experience and competence to-date.
