Electronic Design Engineer Job in Co.Monaghan
In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking a an Electronic Design Engineer to join their prestigious team
Our Client:
Our client is a fast expanding wind turbine manufacturer developing state of the art multi KW turbines. They are currently recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Senior Electronic Engineer to help design and develop a wind turbine, including the generator and control for the turbine which will involve micro-processor-controlled power electronics.
Electronic Design Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
•Involvement in the design of a permanent magnet generator
•Selection of multiphase rectifier
•Detailed design of control electronics
•Integration with mechanics of turbine
•Micro-processor control of electronics and therefore turbine
•Grid connection or battery charging
•Selection of materials of construction and bought in components
•Involvement in construction of prototypes, testing, field trials, safety, certification and installation
•Bill of materials, purchasing, manufacturing setup
•Interaction with Senior Mechanical Engineer, technicians, manufacturing and purchasing
Applications are welcome from candidates degree qualified in electrical or electronic engineering with knowledge of mixed electronics.
Experience of microprocessor control of electronics is a must.
Experience of generators, inverters, grid-connected electrical equipment or wind turbines would be advantageous.
